[Section 1] Father pig is sick. He calls his three sons in to talk. He councils Larry to live in the now, and not to dwell on fantasy. We warns Vance to budget well. He asks Gary to look after the other two. [Section 2] After the funeral, the three pigs go to the laywer's office. He reveals they have been left a fortune. The pigs discuss what they can do with their money. [Section 3] Larry becomes depressed and seeks escape through drugs. And hookers. He doesn't want the others to find out about it, and tries to hide it. He dissapears for a spell. [Section 4] Vance decides to spend his money on a trip and goes off to see the world. He visits Paris, San Fransisco, Argentina, Cape Town, Shanghai, and Bountiful, Utah. He spends too much on everything. [Section 5] Gary invests wisely. He invests in some local businesses, government bonds, and is looking to get into the hotels business. He travels to Des Moines to look at a hotel. [Section 6] Back in town, crops are as an early Fall comes in. [Section 7] As luck would have it, the pigs return home on the same day. Larry gets there first and cleans up to hide his *problems*. They enjoy a pleasant dinner and talk of what they've done. Larry lies. [Section 8] At three AM, a tornado strikes. They work many heroics and Gary manages to pull Larry and Vance from the wrekage. They get a hotel room to share. [Section 9] Larry knows his vices will be found out, so he spends the rest of his cash on some hay. He "builds" a house by digging a cave in the hay pile. He is truly embarassed by his problems. [Section 10] Vance feels guilty about wasting most of his money, so he gives some of his remaining money to Gary to become a minor partner in the hotel, and spends most of the rest on sticks and cloth to put up his own shack. He is to proud to accept Gary's help and wants to prove himself. [Section 11] Gary pays for the hotel room they've been sharing, then hires a construction team to put up a mansion. He travels back to Des Moines to finalize the hote deal. [Section 12] In Florida, Harry gets a skin condition and must let his fur grow out, so he decides to move to a colder climate. When he gets to the pigs town, he has a very hard time finding work. He hears about the pigs. [Section 13] After his house is finished, he offers to let his brothers move in. Larry is still too embarased of his own depravity and refuses. Vance decides he really wants to prove himeself and refuses. [Section 14] One night, the wolf sets fire to Larry's house. He catches Larry as he tries to escape the flames. Larry realizes he has been a fool, and vows to change if he can but escape. The wolf eats him. Police find only some muddy tracks near the burnt wreckage, but no other evidence. They suspect the wolf but have no proof. [Section 15] The news of Larry's dissapearance saddens the two remaining brothers. Larry's bones are found just outside town and a mad wolf alert goes up. Gary offers again to shelter Vance, but they fight because Vance hates that Gary always has to take care of him. Vance spends his last few dollars on a gun. Wolf gets hungry and knocks down Vance's house one night. He sees the gun but leaves it in his flight from the scene. He eats Vance. [Section 16] Now the whole town is looking for the carnivore that is massacreing the pigs. The wolf must go into hiding. He gets awful hungry in hiding and polans to get Gary next. [Section 17] The wolf tried to break into Gary's house one night, but fails between the high windows, sharp bushes and alarm system. When he sets off the alarm, the police show up and the wolf runs. [Section 18] The wolf digs into the reckage of Vance's house. He finds the gun. He has a stand-off then shoot out with the police, in which he is killed. [Section 19] Gary mourns his brothers and names his children after them.
